Welcome to DevMarg, operated by DevMarg Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("DevMarg", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in India. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1.Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the DevMarg Platform in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DevMarg Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2.Account Terms
You register on DevMarg using your phone number and OTP (One-Time Password) verification. This is your primary authentication method.
You may create only one account per phone number. Creating multiple accounts is not permitted.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your OTP with anyone.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your profile.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe it is being used in violation of these Terms.
3.Services Description
DevMarg is a technology-enabled marketplace that connects devotees with temples, vendors, and service providers for spiritual services and products. Our services include:
Online puja bookings at various temples across India
Chadhava (offering) services at temples
Seva and donation facilitation
DevMarg Shop for spiritual products, books, and items
Kundali (birth chart) generation and astrological content
Daily wisdom, mantra, and spiritual knowledge content
Temple information, darshan timings, and travel guides
Hotel, cab, and restaurant listings near temples
Yatra (pilgrimage) planning
DevMarg acts as an intermediary and marketplace. We facilitate the connection between devotees and temples, vendors, or service providers. We are not the direct provider of puja services, physical offerings, or products sold by third-party vendors. The actual services are performed by the respective temples, pandits, and vendors.
4.Puja Booking Terms
The puja is performed by the temple trust or appointed pandit at the specified temple. DevMarg facilitates the booking and communication between you and the temple.
Video link or live darshan for your puja is provided on a best-effort basis. It depends on the temple's infrastructure and connectivity. DevMarg does not guarantee video availability.
Photo or video proof of the completed puja is provided on a best-effort basis and is subject to the temple's cooperation.
DevMarg does not guarantee that a specific pandit will perform your puja. The temple trust assigns pandits based on their own scheduling.
You may reschedule a puja booking if you request the change at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Rescheduling requests within 24 hours of the scheduled time cannot be guaranteed.
Puja timings may vary based on temple schedules, festivals, and unforeseen circumstances. DevMarg will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any changes.
5.Chadhava Terms
Chadhava involves physical offerings (flowers, prasad, coconut, etc.) placed at the deity in the temple on your behalf.
Photo or video proof of the chadhava is provided on a best-effort basis. It depends on the temple's cooperation and local policies.
Once the chadhava has been offered at the temple, it is non-refundable, as the physical offering has been consumed in the ritual.
The type and quantity of offerings may vary slightly based on local availability and temple guidelines.
6.Seva and Donation Terms
DevMarg acts as an intermediary to facilitate donations and seva contributions. Your donations are forwarded to the executing temple, trust, or charitable organisation.
Donations are not tax-deductible under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act unless specifically stated on the donation page for that particular temple or organisation. If 80G eligibility is stated, the receipt will be provided by the receiving organisation, not by DevMarg.
Photo or video proof of your seva being performed is provided on a best-effort basis.
Once a seva has been performed or a donation has been forwarded, it is non-refundable.
7.Shop Terms
DevMarg Shop sells physical spiritual products including books, murtis, puja items, and accessories. Products are shipped to your provided address.
Standard delivery timeline is 5 to 10 business days. Delivery times may vary based on your location and the product's origin.
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for defective or damaged items only. Products must be unused and in original packaging. Items that are not defective are not eligible for return.
Both Cash on Delivery (COD) and online payment options are accepted.
Product images and descriptions are representative. Actual products may vary slightly in colour, size, or appearance.
Availability of products is subject to stock. If a product becomes unavailable after your order, we will notify you and process a full refund.
8.Hotel, Cab & Restaurant Listings
Hotel, cab, and restaurant information listed on DevMarg is provided by the respective vendors and third parties.
DevMarg does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or quality of the information listed. Prices, timings, and availability may change without notice.
Any booking or transaction for hotels, cabs, or restaurants is between you and the vendor directly. DevMarg is not a party to such transactions.
DevMarg is not responsible for the quality of service, disputes, or any loss arising from your engagement with these vendors.
9.Kundali and Astrology Disclaimer
Important: Please read this disclaimer carefully before using any Kundali or astrology feature on DevMarg.
Kundali (birth chart) reports and astrological content on DevMarg are generated using AI and computational algorithms. They are provided for entertainment and spiritual exploration purposes only.
Astrological content is NOT predictive and should NOT be treated as a forecast of future events.
Astrological content does NOT constitute medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or professional guidance of any kind.
Results may vary and are based on traditional astrological calculations. Different astrologers and systems may produce different interpretations.
You assume all risk associated with decisions made based on astrological content. DevMarg is not liable for any actions you take based on Kundali or astrology features.
You should always consult qualified professionals for medical, legal, financial, or other important life decisions.
10.Ayurveda and Wellness Disclaimer
Important: Please read this disclaimer carefully before acting on any ayurveda or wellness content on DevMarg.
All ayurveda, health, and wellness content on DevMarg is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
This content does NOT constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional medical consultation.
You must consult a qualified physician or healthcare provider before starting any treatment, diet, exercise programme, or wellness practice mentioned on the Platform.
DevMarg is not liable for any health decisions, outcomes, or consequences arising from your use of wellness content on the Platform.
If you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on information from this Platform.
11.Vendor Terms
Vendors listed on DevMarg (including temples, pandits, shop sellers, hotel operators, cab providers, and restaurant owners) are independent third parties. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of DevMarg.
DevMarg reviews vendor listings for quality but does not endorse, certify, or guarantee any vendor's services, products, or claims.
Each vendor is solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their listing information, pricing, and service delivery.
DevMarg is not liable for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from your interaction with any vendor.
12.Subscription Terms
If DevMarg offers subscription-based services or premium features, the following terms apply:
Subscriptions auto-renew on a monthly basis unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Payment is charged to your chosen payment method at the time of subscription confirmation.
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You can manage and cancel your subscription from your account settings within the app. For subscriptions purchased via Apple App Store or Google Play, cancellation must be done through the respective platform's subscription management settings.
No refund is provided for partial subscription periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you continue to have access until the end of the current billing period.
DevMarg reserves the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified before any price change takes effect. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
13.Refund Policy
Service
Refund Policy
Puja Booking
Full refund if cancelled 24 or more hours before the scheduled time. 50% refund if cancelled between 12 and 24 hours before. No refund for cancellations less than 12 hours before or after the puja is performed.
Shop Products
Return within 7 days of delivery for defective or damaged items only. Refund processed within 7 to 10 business days after return is received and verified.
Chadhava
Non-refundable once the offering has been made at the temple. Refund is available only if the chadhava could not be performed due to reasons on our end.
Seva / Donation
Non-refundable once the seva has been performed or the donation has been forwarded.
Subscription
Cancel anytime. No refund for the current billing period. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
To request a refund, contact us at support@devmarg.com with your order or booking ID.
14.Intellectual Property
All content on the DevMarg Platform, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, icons, designs, software, code, audio, video, and data compilations, is the property of DevMarg Technologies Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content from the Platform without our prior written consent.
15.User Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
Make fraudulent bookings, orders, or transactions
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform without our written permission
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other user accounts, or our systems
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
Post false reviews, misleading information, or defamatory content
Reproduce, copy, or redistribute DevMarg content without permission
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or the servers and networks connected to it
16.Limitation of Liability
DevMarg operates as an intermediary platform. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
DevMarg is not liable for the quality, accuracy, or timeliness of services provided by temples, pandits, vendors, or third parties
DevMarg is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform
DevMarg is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from reliance on information, content, or services available through the Platform
DevMarg makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the Platform's availability, reliability, or suitability for any particular purpose
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to DevMarg in the 12 months preceding the claim.
17.Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by using the Delete Account feature in Profile → Settings, or by contacting us at support@devmarg.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent or harmful activity.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Any pending bookings or orders will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
18.Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through negotiation. You can contact us at support@devmarg.com.
If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
19.Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:
The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date
For significant changes, we will notify you via in-app notification, SMS, or email
Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes
20.Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address your concerns.
